Where did my Mindfulness journey start?
I began my Mindfulness Practitioner journey in 2012, this is where I had my ‘Mindful Awakening’ when I trained in psychotherapies CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness as part of my Psychology Pathway to rehabilitate offenders in New Zealand. This was within a prison setting prior to release back into communities.
Mindfulness was identified by my Trainers of Psychology as one of my natural gifts. I had an ability to describe it in a way that stood out and effectively shared this skill to help rehabilitate and shift the mindset of offenders in prison. I felt like I had finally found my niche in life.
When did I start teaching Mindfulness in the United Kingdom?
I initially started in 2012 in New Zealand. After moving back to the UK in 2015, I set up business as a Specialist in Mindfulness Therapy and Positivity Coaching in the heart of the Midlands, England. I was one of the first Mindfulness Practitioners in the UK.
I developed my own 6-week group Mindfulness course, facilitating a minimum of 10 clients at a time. From group work, I expanded into one-to-one therapy sessions, workshops, and presentations. I began attending schools and businesses to train others in ‘Mindful living.’ I further trained in various holistic treatments, creating a comprehensive mind, body, and soul experience for clients.
Where am I now?
It’s 2025, and I now have over 13 years experience as a Mindfulness Practitioner, along with 10 years of massage and holistic treatment expertise.
Over the past 13 years, I have qualified in numerous holistic health and healing practices. I specialise in Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindful Meditations and Breathwork, Herbal Health, Colour Therapy, Sound Healing, Crystal Healing, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Chakra Cleansing, Hot Stone Massage, Swedish Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Aromatherapy, Hopi Ear Candling, Sports Massage, and more. I continuously build my knowledge to assist clients in their healing journeys—whether for the mind, body, or soul.
I hold a Level 3 PTTLS Trainer qualification and recently earned certifications in Pilates (Foundation Certificate & Diploma) to integrate movement into my programmes.
In 2021, I relocated from the Midlands to the coast to expand my Mindfulness business in a calming and beautiful location near the Lincolnshire Wolds. I offer Mini Weekend Retreats and tailor packages to meet each client’s unique needs, promoting holistic healing for the mind, body, and soul.
